Well, it has been a busy few weeks here at the Yard - preparing for two markets, starting with the ANcouncil Festival last Sunday with Bonkers Betty's Bizarre Bazaar and this week's attendance at the first #MervilleMarket with the NI Crafting Collective.
Last weekend saved the best of the weather for Sunday... phew! A glorious day by the seaside, we had a lovely day - with lots of folk stopping by to say hello!

Bonkers Betty herself (market organiser mascot) was doing the rounds, photo bombing all over the place!

If you missed it, never fear... this annual event offers free family entertainment over the full weekend - note in your diary for the last weekend of August 2018!

IN OTHER NEWS...
Last week, #TalentedMrRY was crowned #KingOf by the fabby folks over on Twitter Land @ADG_IQ

If you are a resident of Twitter Land - you should check this out; either to browse the wonderful talent (ideas for the "C" word perhaps!) or, as a small business - for support from a wonderful community!

TOMORROW: Sunday 3rd September, we will be out and about again, at this stunning location!

As well as a variety of fellow small biz folk, we will be there as part of the NI Crafting Collective's brand new Market and Family Day - this weekend being the first of four monthly events - we look forward to seeing you there! INFO HERE: Merville Market

This past week, #TalentedMrRY has been given the opportunity to create some Magical and Sci-Fi inspired pieces - if you are on Facebook, you may have seen glimpses... A hand carved magic wand, for a customer - personalised with the names of her grandsons, engraved using pyrography!

Plus, a brand new design for a Star Trek fan - a handmade Bat'leth !! (Klingon weapon)

We are ALWAYS open to new ideas and, within reason, Mr RY can help you to create your very own keepsake piece, handmade from timber and various materials... so don't be shy!
Well, I'm off to start pulling together our hoard for the market in Newtownabbey tomorrow - get things packed up and check we have everything we need. Hopefully we will see some of you there!
