Hello Folks!

It has been a busy week at the Yard and this is the first chance I have had to pop on and tell you all about last weekend...

Last Sunday, we were delighted to have been invited to take part in the Antrim Summer Festival and hosted a stand at Festival in the Park in the gorgeous surroundings of Antrim Castle Gardens. Supporting local Small business were the Marquee sponsors - Antrim Enterprise Agency, and here we are with the lovely Kerry, on the day.

Organised by the Antrim Festival Group the marquee was jam-packed with fellow local artisans and craft folk, plus plenty for all the family just outside: bouncy castles, rope assault course, food and beer tent as well as the Dog Show hosted by the Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary ... plus entertainment from local talent on the big stage throughout the day, followed by the Mighty Elvis and Queen tribute band - Flash Harry.

We had a fantastic day... even with the occasional downpours, between the sunshine! We met lots of fabulous fellow small biz folk, including the lovely Alanagh and Ilsa from Ke Nako Biltong who introduced us the the amazing flavours of biltong, made from 100% Organic Irish Beef. Here is Alanagh with one of the Antrim Festival Group organisers, Alan.

The pups were VERY excitable as we were unpacking that evening... we gave in and allowed them a wee snippet each!

We also treated ourselves to some beautiful burgers from Castlescreen Farm ... WOW!!

...and all washed down with a delightful beverage care of Glens of Antrim Craft Ale & Beers.

I treated myself to these gorgeous critters, handmade by the wonderful Apso Soaps. I have had soaps from Ellen before and was delighted to meet up again at the weekend. Mr RY is quite taken with the Green Tea & Sea Kelp!

While I was off getting us a cuppa, Mr RY was sneaking and colluding with fellow stall holder - Rock Junkie Jewellery ...then on the way home, he surprised me with this wee treat! #TalentedMrRY ...ain't he sweet! #HappyMrsRY

Oh... and we sold a few bits too - added bonus!! HUGE thanks to the Antrim Festival Group for a wonderful day and especially to Alan - who invited us to be part of the event! #LoveAntrim
